What is a playdough mat?
A playdough mat, otherwise known as “dough mat” is a piece of paper or card that is used to direct the activity or design that a toddler does with playdough.
The design that a toddler makes with the playdough can be created on the playdough mat and these can include shapes, numbers and objects like flowers. These mats are often either bought or downloaded on the internet.
Playdough mats can help young children with learning numbers, counting, learning the alphabet and other things. Also, by playing with playdough, toddlers can develop their fine motor skills and enhance their creativity and imagination.
